The problem with motivational programs

Each person is unique and has different needs. Most motivational programs assume that all people are motivated by the same factors. This is simply untrue. Because in many different motivational programs are winners and losers? If the sale is the journey to Hawaii, the employee parking lot of a month, or employee of the week free lunch, these programs offer the opportunity for workers unhappy. These programs are in use, because they are easy to implement, evaluate and produce. Do not take deep thought or time to understand directions. Do this and you will be rewarded or punished and you will do this. People are much more complex that. In order to learn more about motivation, first learn how not to motivate people. Here are some ideas. Giving people is not worth doing the work or that do not add value. People manage their chances of giving autonomy and freedom of decision. To compete against others or the rules. Use this as the only guide to the rewards and punishments. Showcase winners and losers in the others. This will definitely help to lower the morale and motivation. Focus on productivity and efficiency and not on personal development. Ignore the skills of the peoples’ interests and as cattle and instead will ONLY work that needs to be done in specific ways.
